Episode 3: What If You Choose Wrong? The Fear Of Starting Over

What if you make the big decision and regret it? In this episode, I share some of the biggest decisions of my life—from leaving home at 18 to join the Navy to eventually walking away from a 26-year career—and what I've learned about the fear of choosing wrong, starting over, and trusting yourself when you're standing at a crossroads.

Comparison can steal your peace in seconds. Episode 1: It's Okay To Not Have It Figured Out (Starting Over At Any Age)

You don't have to have it figured out to start. In this first episode, I share my winding path from 26 years in the Navy to Lululemon, a PhD program, Amazon, and eventually building The Salty Spray. If you've ever felt behind, stuck, or like everyone else got a manual you never received, this episode is your permission slip to stop waiting until you feel ready.

I'm Holly Taylor

Before That Salty Girl, I served in the Navy and later worked in corporate America before settling into Birmingham and starting The Salty Spray, a mobile spray tan business. Now, as a podcaster, you may even hear stories about my days flying with the Blue Angels and graduating from a small Louisiana school with a class of 18. As you can see, I live life to the fullest, stretch myself to learn everything I can, and prioritize people above all else regardless of what is going on around me.

All of my experiences lead me to the word salty.

Salty (adj.): seasoned by everything you've been through.

I learned it’s okay to keep going despite not knowing what is next. If you’re at a crossroads or wondering where to start, this is the place you belong.
