ABOUT ME

After 26 years of dedicated service in the U.S. Navy, I’ve earned my stripes and embraced the qualities of resilience and toughness that define a “salty” sailor. My name is Holly Taylor, and my journey from the deck of aircraft carriers to the shores of civilian life has been one of discovery and transformation. Transitioning to civilian life was a challenge. I navigated through unexpected paths—folding yoga pants, baking cookies, and working in corporate environments—until I found my anchor in entrepreneurship.

In Navy terms, being “salty” signifies experience, toughness, and resilience. Inspired by the experience and resilience that come with being "salty," I named my business The Salty Spray to reflect my Navy background and the qualities of experience, toughness, and resilience that being "salty" signifies.
