PREPARATION & AFTERCARE

Pre-Tan Instructions

Shower, shave, and exfoliate 8-24 hours before your appointment.

Avoid lotion on the day of your tan but hydrate well in the days leading up to it.

Remove deodorant and makeup before your appointment.

Tan Time

Wear loose, dark clothing and shoes.

Avoid getting wet or sweating for 1 to 8 hours post-tan.

Post Tan Tips

Your first shower should be a rinse only.

Use mild, moisturizing shower gel and avoid exfoliants.

Moisturize daily and pat your skin dry.

Avoid pools, hot tubs, and baths to prolong your tan.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Your appointment typically takes less than 30 minutes from start to finish.

  • During the tan, you can wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Most clients wear underwear or a bikini. After the tan, we recommend loose, dark clothing to avoid any transfer.

  • We provide disposable shower caps to protect your hair during the tanning process.

  • We recommend booking your tan 1-2 days before your event for the best results.

  • There may be some initial transfer of the bronzer, but it should wash out of most fabrics. Wearing dark, loose clothing after your tan helps minimize this.

  • We offer in-home spray tanning services in Birmingham, Alabama, and surrounding areas within a 50-mile radius, including Tuscaloosa.
