How 26 years of service led me to my calling: helping women feel confident in their own skin.
I help people look healthy and feel good in their own skin through a safe and effortless spray tan method. Natural color, brought right to your door, with none of the risk or hassle.
I grew up in a tiny town in Louisiana, joined the Navy, and spent 26 years on active duty before retiring and moving into corporate America. Both taught me the same thing: do the work, take care of people, and don't cut corners.
The Salty Spray came out of wanting something that was mine, and something that actually made people feel good about themselves. It's also been a great way to meet people in my community.
The other side of it is personal: I spent a lot of years in the sun when I was younger, and I'm paying for it now with dark spots that I'm not crazy about. A spray tan is simply a better, easier solution with no tanning bed salons or sun damage required. You get color in about 10 minutes, and it lasts 7 to 10 days.

Doing the right thing isn't always the easy thing, and when I mess up, I own it. I'd rather be honest and take the hit than cut a corner and hope nobody notices.

I've never been scared of hard work; I embrace doing hard things. The thing most people avoid is usually the thing worth doing, and I don't quit when it gets tough.

A shepherd should smell like his sheep. I don't sit above the work; I'm in it. I do every tan myself; I'm the one at your door, right alongside you.

I genuinely care how you feel and how you walk away. At the end of every day, I want to know I helped someone.

I do what I say I'll do, when I said I'd do it. I show up, and I show up on time. Your time matters to me.

I'm never done learning. I keep training and testing solutions so what I bring you keeps getting better, 1% better every day.
I'm Holly Taylor
I'm Holly. Before The Salty Spray, I served in the Navy and later worked in corporate America, so I'm wired to show up prepared and do things right, though most people are surprised how soft-spoken I am once they meet me. My husband and I settled in Birmingham because he grew up in Alabama and we wanted to be close to family.
What I love about this work is getting to be the easy part of someone's day: they don't have to go anywhere, they don't have to know anything about spray tans, they don’t have to worry about getting ready, and they walk away looking and feeling better.
